Export desk at Slachthuisweg 135: hours and directions
Our RDW-recognised export desk is at Slachthuisweg 135, 7556 AZ Hengelo (Overijssel), in the Netherlands, about 1 km from the A1 motorway. We are open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 to 16:30, and you can walk in. Calling or messaging first is recommended, ideally 20 minutes before you arrive. On Sunday we open by appointment at a higher rate. We have no office in Italy.
Remote export by post: no need to visit the desk
Much can be prepared online. The yellow Dutch number plates must reach us physically, by post or courier, and we start once they arrive. We send documents and plates insured and with tracking, also to Italy.
Is the car already in Italy? Contact us first: the export is then handled by post, with DHL standard taking about 5 working days and DHL Express about 1 working day. How it all fits together is on our overview of the export process, and our rates are on our prices and the Italian charges.
What to send via WhatsApp for an export quote
- The registration number and the type of vehicle.
- A photo of the registration card.
- The full Italian address of the buyer or new owner.
- The planned start date and route, and the details of the policyholder and driver.

Can I come by without an appointment?
Yes, during office hours. We recommend calling or messaging first, preferably 20 minutes before you arrive.
